1. What the Dashboard is for

Your profit and stock for a period, on one page. Every card and panel opens the detailed report behind it.

The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It answers: how much did my reactions earn, what did my sales make and what is my stock worth. From top to bottom it has:

Set up
A checklist of the one-off setup steps. Only shown until every step is done.
The six figure cards
Profit and value figures for the period: True margin, Cash margin, Sales profit, Stock value, Contract discount and Refine gain.
Margin over time
A daily chart of what your delivered jobs and your sales earned.
Stock value by state
A daily chart of what your stock was worth, split by where it was.
Products
Every product you delivered in the period, with its margins.
Top holdings
The ten most valuable items in your stock.
Recently delivered jobs
The last ten jobs you delivered, with their margins.

The subtitle under the title repeats what you are looking at, for example Profit and stock · Last 30 days · all characters. The Dashboard only reads data; nothing you click here changes your records.

The Dashboard counts delivered jobs only
A job earns a margin when you deliver it in game and the app posts its output to stock. Jobs that are still running, or ready but not yet delivered, do not count yet. To see jobs in flight, open Pipeline or Slots.

2. The Set up checklist

Shown at the top of the Dashboard until you have finished the one-off setup.

The Set up card lists five steps with N of 5 steps left in its corner. A tick means the step is done; an open circle means it is still to do, with a button that takes you to the right page. The card disappears once every step is done.

Backend configured for EVE SSO
The server can log you in with EVE. If this is not ticked, the line underneath lists what is missing; See what is missing opens Sync. Only whoever runs the server can fix it, so tell an admin.
Add a character
Ticked once you have at least one character. Add character opens Characters.
Register your reaction and refining structures
Ticked once you have registered at least one facility. Add facility opens Facilities.
Enter opening balances
Ticked once you have recorded at least one opening balance: the stock you already held before you started using the app. Record opening balance opens Stock; see Recording an opening balance.
Set “post jobs started after”
Ticked once you have changed Settings→General→Post jobs started after from its default. Jobs started before this date are not taken from your stock. Open settings takes you there; see the Settings guide.

3. Choosing the period and character

Two controls at the top right decide what every card, chart and table shows.

Character
All (the default) adds up every character. Pick one character to see only its jobs, sales, contracts, refines, stock chart and holdings. The Stock value card is the one exception: it always covers all characters, and says · all characters when a character is picked.
Period
24h, 7d, 30d (the default), 90d, This month or Custom. Custom shows two date boxes (From (UTC) and To (UTC)). Dates are in UTC, which is the same as EVE time.

Your choice is kept in the page address, so you can bookmark it. The View report → and View all → links and the cards carry the same period and character into Reports.

Where the market prices come from
The Dashboard has no market picker. Every market value on it (output value, stock value, holdings) uses the valuation market and price set in Settings→Costing. The market you pick on the Stock page does not change the Dashboard. See Settings → Costing.

4. The six figure cards

Each card shows one figure for the period. Hover its name for a short explanation; click the card to open the report.

Positive figures are green with a +, losses are red. If a figure could not be loaded the card shows – with Unavailable: … and the reason underneath; reload the page to try again.

True margin
What your delivered jobs earned, counting the inputs at their market value when used: output value minus inputs at market value, install cost and overhead. It measures the reaction itself, whatever you paid for the inputs. The line underneath says on N jobs. An amber note N jobs excluded (no market price at delivery) means some products had no price when you delivered them, so they are left out. Opens Reports → Jobs.
Cash margin
The same jobs, but counting the inputs at what you actually paid for them. The line underneath shows sourcing captured: the difference between the two margins, which is the value you gained by sourcing cheaply (contract discounts, mined ore). Opens Reports → Jobs.
Sales profit
What you made on market sales: revenue minus what the sold items cost you, minus estimated sales tax. Broker fees are not included. The line underneath shows revenue and tax. Opens Reports → Sales.
Stock value
What the stock the app has recorded (your lots) is worth right now at market prices, for all characters. Underneath: book (what it cost you) and unrealised (market minus book). N types unpriced means some items have no price and are left out. This card ignores the period: it is always “now”. Opens .

5. The two charts

Margin over time

One group of bars per day (UTC): True margin and Cash margin of the jobs delivered that day, with Sales profit as a dashed line. Hover a day to see its figures, the number of jobs delivered, the output value, contract discount and refine gain. View report → opens Reports → Jobs for the same period.

If nothing was delivered or sold in the period, the chart says No deliveries or sales in this range. Pick a longer period, or check that your jobs have been delivered in game.

Stock value by state

Your stock value per day, stacked by where the stock was:

In hangar
Stock sitting in your hangars.
In jobs
Inputs inside running jobs.
Pending output
What running jobs will produce.
On market
Stock listed on sell orders.

The Market / Book switch in the corner shows the value at market prices or at what the stock cost you. Snapshots → opens the Snapshot tab on Stock.

The chart is drawn from the daily snapshot, which the app takes once a day after EVE's downtime (from 11:30 EVE time). Until the first one exists it says No snapshots yet; you can take one straight away from Stock → Snapshot.

6. Products, top holdings and recent jobs

Products

One row per product delivered in the period. Click a row to open that product in Reports → Products; View all → opens the full list. Click a column heading to sort; Columns hides or shows columns.

Product
What you made.
Jobs / runs
How many jobs delivered it, and how many runs they had in total.
Output
Units produced, with their value at delivery underneath.
True margin, Cash margin
As on the cards, for this product only.
Margin / slot-hour
True margin divided by the hours of reaction slot time the jobs used: the best way to compare products, because slots are what limit you. Hover for the cash figure. Only shown when slot time is known; the table is sorted by it when it is.
Sold
Units sold in the period, with the revenue underneath.
Sales profit
Profit on those sales.
Install
Install cost paid to the structure for these jobs.

Empty? It says No jobs delivered between … and …. Widen the period, or press Open pipeline to see what is still running.

Top holdings

The ten most valuable items in your stock, from the app's own records (your lots), priced at the valuation market from Settings→Costing. View all → opens Stock.

7. Common questions

Click a question to open it.

Dashboard

My jobs finished but the Dashboard shows no margin.

Margins count only delivered jobs. A job whose timer has ended is Ready to deliver until you deliver it in game; then the next jobs sync (every 5 to 10 minutes) posts its output and it appears here. See Slots for jobs waiting to be delivered.

What is the difference between true margin and cash margin?

True margin values the inputs at what they were worth on the market when the job used them; cash margin at what you actually paid. If you bought cheap on contracts or mined the ore yourself, cash margin is higher, and the difference is shown as sourcing captured. See How costs and profit work.

Why does “N jobs excluded (no market price at delivery)” appear under True margin?

The app had no market price for those products at the moment you delivered them, so it cannot value the output. Make sure the product is tracked at your valuation market (open the item on Stock and switch on Track price hourly), so future deliveries are priced.

Why is Stock value on the Dashboard different from the Stock page?

Three reasons. The Dashboard values your recorded lots, while Holdings on the Stock page uses the quantities EVE reports. The Dashboard always uses the valuation market and price from Settings→Costing, while the Stock page uses whatever market and price you pick there. And the Dashboard card always covers all characters. Use Reconciliation if the quantities disagree.

The stock chart says “No snapshots yet”.

The chart is drawn from the daily snapshot, taken after EVE's downtime (from 11:30 EVE time). Take one now from Stock → Snapshot with Take snapshot now.

A card shows “Unavailable: …”.

That figure could not be loaded; the text after the colon says why. The other cards still work. Reload the page; if it persists, check Sync or tell an admin.

The full walk-through of these steps is in Getting started.

Stock
Contract discount
How much below market you bought through contracts: market value of what you received minus what you paid. The line underneath shows the total paid. Opens Reports → Contracts.
Refine gain
Whether refining paid off: mineral value out minus ore value in and refining fees, for refine batches that came back in the period. The line underneath counts the batches. Opens Reports → Refines.

True and cash margin are explained in full in How costs and profit work; the reports themselves in the Profit reports guide.

The item and who holds it.
Quantity
Units recorded in your lots.
Unit value, Market value
Price per unit and the value of all units.
Unrealised
Market value minus what the units cost you.
Self-sourced
The share of the holding that you mined or made yourself, as a bar and a percentage.

Empty? It says No stock held: record opening balances or purchases from the Record menu (see Recording what ESI cannot see).

Recently delivered jobs

The ten most recent deliveries in the period: Product (with the number of runs), Character, Delivered, True margin and Cash margin. A – in a margin means there was no market price at delivery. Click a row to open the job (see the job page); View all → opens Reports → Jobs.

  1. 1
Spot a product that earns little
Sort Products by Margin / slot-hour.
  2. 2
    Open its report
Click the row. Reports → Products opens with that product, showing every job behind the figure.
  3. 3
    Open a single job
Click a job there to see what each input cost and which lots it came from.

Finish all five steps. The card disappears on its own once every step is ticked; there is no button to hide it.
