1. What the Profit page is for

How much you made, from what, over any period: per job, per product, per sale, per refine and per contract.

Profit (under Reports in the sidebar; the page itself is titled Reports) turns everything the app has recorded into profit figures. It has five tabs:

Jobs
Every delivered reaction or manufacturing job, with its cash and true margin, and a daily chart.
Products
The same jobs added up per product, with margin per slot-hour and what you sold of each product.
Sales
Every sale, market or contract, with revenue, cost, sales tax and profit.
Refines
Every refine batch: did refining beat selling the ore as it was?
Contracts
Contract purchases and the discount you got compared with the market.

A line under the tabs explains the tab you are on. Each tab has its own table with totals in the bottom row, a CSV download and a Columns menu.

Profit is counted when it happens, not when it starts
A job counts on the day it is delivered, a sale on the day it is sold, a refine on the day it was refined, a contract purchase on the day it finished. A job still running, or not yet delivered in game, is not on this page yet.

2. Choosing the period and character

Both controls sit at the top right and apply to every tab.

24h, 7d, 30d, 90d, This month, Custom
The period. 30d (the last 30 days) is the default. This month starts on the 1st. Custom shows two date boxes; the period runs from the start of the first date to the end of the second, in EVE time (UTC).
Character
One character, or All. Jobs count for the character who installed them; sales, refines and contract purchases for the character who held the stock.

The subtitle repeats your choice, for example Profit detail · Last 30 days · all characters. Your choice stays when you switch tabs and is kept in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a view.

3. Cash margin, true margin and value captured by sourcing

Two ways of measuring the same job. Read them together.

Cash margin
Output value minus what you actually paid for the inputs, the install cost and any overhead. Your real ISK result, including the benefit of cheap contracts and your own mining.
True margin
Output value minus the inputs at their market value when the job used them, the install cost and any overhead. Measures the reaction itself: a negative true margin means selling the inputs would have earned more than reacting them.
Value captured by sourcing
Inputs at market minus inputs at cash: what you saved by buying below market or using your own ore, PI and refining. It is always cash margin minus true margin.
Output value
What the job produced, at the market value of the product when it was delivered.

Market values are taken from your valuation market and price in Settings→Costing at the moment of the event and then kept. Changing those settings later does not rewrite past figures, and the market you pick on the Stock page has no effect here. See How costs and profit work.

4. The Jobs tab

One row per delivered job, newest first.

At the top, four totals for the period: Cash margin, True margin, Value captured by sourcing and Output value (with the number of jobs delivered). Below them, the Daily margin chart shows true margin, cash margin and sales profit (dashed) per UTC day; hover a day to also see output value, contract discount and refine gain.

The columns

Delivered
When the job was delivered. The bottom row says Total · N jobs.
Product × runs
What it made and how many runs.
Character
Who installed the job.
Output qty
Units produced.
Output value
Units × the product's market value at delivery. Hover for the price per unit.
Cash margin
As above. Green is a profit, red a loss.
True margin
As above. Hover to compare inputs at cash and at market.
Inputs at cash
What the inputs cost you, from your lots (purchase price, freight, export tax, mining cost and so on).
Inputs at market
What the same inputs were worth at market when the job used them.
Install
The job installation cost EVE charged.
Overhead
Hidden at first (turn it on under Columns). Structure fuel shared by the jobs running at the time; 0 unless you fuel the structure yourself.

Use the Product filter above the table to see one product only. Click a row to open the job. The job page's See profit for this job → link brings you back here showing that job only, with Show all jobs to return.

A job shows “No market price at delivery”
The product had no price at your valuation market when it was delivered. The job is left out of output value and both margins, and the note under the totals says how many were left out. Its costs are still recorded.

A delivered job that is missing here usually could not be costed (its inputs were short). Fix it from the Inbox; see blocked jobs. Jobs started before Post jobs started after in Settings are not costed and do not appear.

5. The Products tab

Which products are worth your reaction slots.

One row per product delivered or sold in the period, sorted by True / slot-hour, best first. The totals at the top are for all delivered jobs in the period.

Product, Jobs, Runs, Output qty
What was made, in how many jobs and runs, and how many units.
Output value, Cash margin, True margin
Added up over those jobs, as on the Jobs tab.
True / slot-hour, Cash / slot-hour
The margin divided by the hours of slot time the jobs took. A slot can only run one job at a time, so this is the fairest way to compare a fast cheap product with a slow valuable one. Hover to see the slot time. “No slot time recorded” when the duration is unknown.
Inputs cash, Inputs market, Install
The costs behind the margins.
Sold qty, Revenue, Sales tax, Sales profit
What you sold of the product in the period, from the Sales tab. A product can show sales and no jobs, or the other way round.

Click a product to open Jobs of … above the table: its own totals and its jobs. Open in Jobs tab → shows them on the Jobs tab; Close hides the panel.

6. The Sales tab

Every sale in the period, with what it cost you and what you kept.

Sales come from three places:

  • Market sales, read from your characters' wallets for the items the app tracks.
  • Contracts you reviewed as Sale (see Contracts).
  • Sales you recorded with Record→Sale.
Sold at
When. The bottom row says Total · N sales.
Item, Character
What was sold and by whom.
Kind
Market or Contract.
Qty, Unit price, Revenue
Units, price per unit and quantity × price.
Book cost
What those units cost you, from your oldest lots first.
Sales tax
An estimate for market sales: your Base sales tax setting reduced by 11% per level of the Accounting skill the character has now. Hover for the rate and level. Contract sales pay no sales tax.
Profit
Revenue minus book cost minus sales tax.
Market value at sale
What the units were worth at your valuation market when sold. Compare it with revenue to see if you sold cheap.

Filter by item with Filter by item…. Clicking a contract sale opens the contract; clicking a market sale opens that item's lots on the Stock page.

Broker fees are not included
The note under the table says so: Broker fees are not modelled. Your real profit on market sales is lower by the broker fees you paid. Sales tax uses the character's Accounting level today, so sales made before you trained it show slightly less tax than you paid.

7. The Refines tab

Did refining the ore pay better than selling it as it was?

Refined
When the batch was refined (or sent to the refiner). The bottom row says Total · N batches.
Ore inputs
The ore and quantity; +N when there was more than one ore. Hover for the full list.
Refiner
Who refined it: your character or a contracted refiner. Hover to see whose batch it is.
Status
At refiner (waiting for the minerals from a contracted refiner) or Done.
Refine gain
Net output value minus ore market value. Positive: refining beat selling the ore. The bottom row is the total.
Net output value
Output market value minus tax and fee.
Ore market value
What the ore was worth at market when refined.
Output market value
What the minerals were worth at market.
Tax
The structure's reprocessing tax.
Fee
The contracted refiner's fee (0 for your own characters).
Ore cash cost
What the ore cost you. Not part of the gain: the gain compares refining with selling the same ore.
Facility
Where it was refined. Click to open the facility.

A batch still At refiner shows – (Outputs not returned yet) and is left out of the total; a note under the table counts them. Click a row to open the batch. See the Refining guide.

8. The Contracts tab

What you saved (or overpaid) by buying through contracts.

One row per contract that brought stock in: contracts reviewed as Purchase, and the items you received in a swap reviewed as Sale. Transfers and refine contracts are not purchases and are not listed.

Acquired
When the contract finished. The bottom row says Total · N contracts.
Title
The contract's title, or Contract and its number.
Character
Who received the items.
Lines
How many items. Hover to see each with its price; (custom) marks a price you set in the review.
Paid
What the items cost you: their share of the contract price, or your custom prices.
Market value
What the same items were worth at your valuation market when the contract finished.
Discount
Market value minus paid. Positive: you bought below market. Negative: you paid more than market.
Discount ratio
Discount as a share of market value.
Unpriced lines
Items with no market price at the time. They count in Paid but are left out of Market value and Discount; a note under the table says how many contracts are affected.

Click a row to open the contract. This discount is the same gain that shows as Value captured by sourcing once the items are used in a job.

9. What is and is not counted

So you know how far to trust each figure.

Counted

  • What you paid for inputs: market and contract purchases, purchases you recorded, opening balances.
  • Your own mining at the mined ore rate in Settings, and PI output at its export tax.
  • Freight on hauls, added to the cost of what you moved.
  • Reprocessing tax and contracted refiner fees (in refine costs and refine gain).
  • The job installation cost EVE charged.
  • Estimated sales tax on market sales.
  • Structure fuel overhead, only for structures you fuel yourself.

Not counted

  • Broker fees and relisting fees on market orders.
  • Anything the app was not told about: unrecorded purchases, hauls or refines, and contracts not yet reviewed.
  • Jobs not yet delivered, jobs that could not be costed, and jobs started before Post jobs started after.
  • Products with no market price at delivery (left out of output value and margins).

10. Exporting to CSV and choosing columns

  1. 1
    Set the filters
Choose the tab, period, character and any product or item filter.
  2. 2
    Press CSV
The CSV button above the table downloads the rows shown (hover it to see how many). It is greyed out when there are no rows.
  3. 3
    Open it in a spreadsheet
The file is named after the tab and the dates, for example jobs-2026-10-01-2026-10-31.csv. Amounts are plain numbers in ISK without formatting, and it includes ids and extra fields that are not columns on screen.

Columns above each table shows or hides columns on screen (it does not change the CSV). Click a column heading to sort by it.

11. Coming here from the Dashboard

The Dashboard shows the headline figures from this page. Each card opens the matching tab with the same period and character:

True margin, Cash margin
Jobs tab.
Sales profit
Sales tab.
Contract discount
Contracts tab.
Refine gain
Refines tab.
Margin over time, Recently delivered jobs
View report → or View all → open the Jobs tab.
Products
View all → opens the Products tab; clicking a product opens its jobs there.

Stock value opens the Stock page instead. See the Dashboard guide.

12. Common questions

Click a question to open it.

Profit reports

My true margin is negative but cash margin is positive. Am I losing money?

No, you made ISK: your inputs were cheap (contracts, your own mining or PI). But selling those inputs at market would have earned more than reacting them. Consider selling the inputs, or making something else; the True / slot-hour column on the Products tab helps you choose.

A job I delivered is not on the Jobs tab.

Check the period: jobs count on their delivery date. EVE reports deliveries every few minutes, so a job delivered just now may take a moment. If it still does not appear, its inputs may be short (look in the Inbox), or it started before Post jobs started after in Settings.

Some jobs show “No market price at delivery”.

Your valuation market had no price for the product at that time. These jobs are left out of output value and margins. Make sure the product's price is tracked (Settings → Markets and prices) and that your valuation market trades it.

Why is my sales profit higher than what I really made?

Broker fees are not included, and sales tax is estimated from the Accounting level your character has today. Subtract your broker fees for the real figure.

A sale shows no tax.

Contract sales pay no sales tax in EVE, so the app charges none. Only market sales are taxed.

I changed my valuation market. Why did old figures not change?

Market values are recorded when each event happens (delivery, sale, purchase) and kept. A new valuation market only affects events from now on.

Contract discount is negative.

You paid more than the market value for those items, or a custom price was entered too high. Hover the Lines number to see the price of each item, and open the contract to check.

A refine batch shows “–” for refine gain.

The batch is still At refiner: the minerals have not come back, so there is nothing to compare yet. Record the return (on Refining, or by reviewing the return contract as Refine return) and the gain appears.
