1. What the Facilities page is for

Tell the app about every structure you react, refine or build fuel blocks in, so its time, material, yield and tax figures match the game.

A facility is one of your Upwell structures (for example a Tatara or Athanor) as the app knows it: its type, the solar system it sits in, which services are online, the rigs fitted and the taxes the owner charges. The app needs this because EVE does not tell it any of these things. Every planned job time, every material quantity, every refining yield and every install cost estimate is worked out from them.

Facilities shows one card per registered structure. Click a facility's name to open its own page with the full bonus tables, the rigs and its settings.

Add facility
Opens the form to register a new structure (top right).
Show inactive (N)
Also lists facilities you have deactivated. N is how many there are.
Card heading
The name (click it to open the facility), the structure type, the solar system with its security and band, and the region.
Edit
Opens the same form with the current values filled in.
Service chips
Composite, Hybrid, Biochemical, Reprocessing, Manufacturing. Highlighted means the service is online; crossed out means it is off.
Rigs (n/3 L)
How many rigs are fitted out of the structure's rig slots, the rig size it takes (M, L or XL), and their names, or none fitted.
Reaction tax, Reprocessing tax
The taxes the owner charges. Structure time × appears when the structure type itself changes reaction time (a Tatara does).
Rig bonuses
The bonuses your rigs give, per family, as −26.40% time · −2.64% material, already adjusted for the system's security. Hover for how the game shows it. when there are none.

2. Registering a facility

Do this once per structure, before its jobs can be costed.

  1. 1
    Find the structure id
The easiest way is to let the app find it: start a reaction there in game, wait for the jobs sync, and the Inbox raises an item for the unregistered structure. Its Register facility button opens this form with the id already filled in. See Finding the structure id for other ways.
  2. 2
    Press Add facility
The Register facility panel opens on the right.
  3. 3
    Fill in the form
Every field is explained below. The ones you must fill in are the ids and names, the type, the true security and the reaction tax.
  4. 4
    Press Register
The app checks the form, saves it and opens the new facility's page. A message says … registered.
  5. 5
Fit the rigs with Change rigs
Rigs are set on the facility's own page, not in the form. See Rigs.

3. Finding the structure id

EVE does not show structure ids in its normal windows, so here are three ways to get one.

From the Inbox (easiest)
When one of your characters starts a job in a structure the app does not know, the job cannot be costed and the Inbox raises an item for it. Press its Register facility button: the form opens with the id filled in and a note From inbox: a job ran in structure … which is not registered. After you press Register the app retries the job at once (Inbox item retried: the job can now be posted).
From a job
Open a job that ran there from Pipeline. Its header says Unregistered facility; hover it to see Unregistered facility … with the id.
From outside the app
Third-party EVE websites and tools that list player structures show the id. Copy the whole number.

If the inbox item's structure is already registered, the form warns Structure … is already registered as …. Close it and press Retry on the inbox item instead.

4. Rigs

Fit the same rigs as the structure has in game. Their bonuses change job times, material use and refining yield.

  1. 1
    Open the facility
    Click its name on Facilities.
  2. 2
Press Change rigs in the Rigs panel
A list opens with only the rigs that fit this structure's rig size. The heading shows the size and the number of slots.
  3. 3
    Tick the fitted rigs
Type in Filter rigs… to narrow the list. The counter shows n of 3 slots used. When all slots are used, the rest are greyed out: untick one to choose another.
  4. 4
    Press Save rigs
A message says Rigs saved on … and the bonus tables update.

Only one rig of each group can be fitted, as in game (for example not two Composite Reactor time rigs, even one T1 and one T2). If you tick two, a Same group chip and the warning Only one rig per group can be fitted appear and Save rigs stays disabled. A reactor rig and a reprocessing rig never clash. If the app still refuses, the message says why (wrong size, too many rigs, same group).

The Rigs table

5. Bonuses: checking the figures against the game

The facility page shows exactly what the app will use, so you can compare it with the in-game industry window.

Rig bonuses per family
One row per family (Biochemical, Composite, Hybrid, Molecular-Forged, Structure manufacturing) with the Time bonus and Material bonus after the security multiplier, and Game shows: the same numbers written the way the industry window writes them, such as −26.4% time, −2.6% material. Below the table: the Structure, its Structure reaction time multiplier and Structure refining yield bonus.
Reaction tax
The tax per reaction category and its Source: Facility reaction tax or Per-family override. Molecular-Forged reactions pay the Biochemical rate.
Reprocessing base per ore class
The facility part of the refining yield for each ore class, with a sample ore: rig base yield × security multiplier × (1 + the structure's yield bonus). The game shows this as the structure's base yield. Without a reprocessing rig it says No reprocessing rig fitted: the facility base comes only from the structure. If the Reprocessing service is off it warns Reprocessing service is off: refining here is not offered.
Recipe support
For each reaction group (and fuel blocks), how many formulas can run here (Supported, as 12 / 12) and a status: Runnable (all of them), Partial (some cannot run, row highlighted) or Not here (the service is off).

6. Security band and why it matters

Rig bonuses are bigger in lower security space. The app works out the band the same way the game does: it rounds the true security to one decimal, half up (0.45 becomes 0.5, −0.04 becomes 0.0), then:

HIGH
0.5 and above. Rig bonuses at their smallest.
LOW
0.1 to 0.4. Rig bonuses multiplied by the rig's low-sec factor.
NULL
0.0 and below. Rig bonuses at their largest.
WORMHOLE
Only when you tick the wormhole box. Uses the null-sec factor.

The band shows on every card and on the facility page next to the system. Changing the true security of a system changes it for every facility in that system.

7. Editing and deactivating

Change anything except the structure id: on the card press Edit (a panel opens; press Save), or on the facility page change the Settings panel at the bottom and press Save changes. The panel heading shows when it was last Updated. Changing the structure type is refused if the fitted rigs no longer fit; change the rigs first.

A change applies to everything worked out from now on (plans, estimates, refining previews). Jobs and refines already costed keep the figures they were costed with.

Deactivate

When you stop using a structure, open it and press Deactivate, then confirm. The facility is Kept for history: past jobs and refines still point to it, but the Planner and the pickers stop offering it and its rigs are locked. It disappears from the list unless Show inactive is on.

Deactivating cannot be undone in the app
There is no reactivate or delete button. If you deactivated the wrong facility, ask an admin through Tickets. You cannot register the same structure id again, because the old record still holds it.

8. Common questions

Click a question to open it.

Facilities

Where do I find a structure id?

Start a job there and wait for the jobs sync: the Inbox then has an item with a Register facility button that fills the id in for you. See Finding the structure id.

My job is blocked: “facility … not registered”.

The job ran in a structure the app does not know, so it cannot cost it. Use Register facility on the inbox item, fill in the form and press Register; the job is retried automatically.

The Planner does not offer my facility.

Check that the facility is active and that the right service is ticked under Services online (for example Hybrid for hybrid reactions). The facility page's Recipe support table shows what can run there. Also check the reaction group is switched on in Settings → Reaction groups.

Save rigs is greyed out: “Only one rig per group can be fitted”.

Two of the ticked rigs are in the same group (look for the Same group chip). Untick one of them.

The bonuses differ from the in-game industry window.

Check the structure type, the true security (and so the band), the services and the rigs. The facility page shows only the structure's part; the game also applies your skills. See Bonuses.

How do I delete or reactivate a facility?

You cannot from the app: Deactivate is the only option and it keeps the record for history. Ask an admin if you need it undone.

Does changing a tax or rig change my past profit?

No. Jobs and refines already costed keep their figures. Changes apply to new plans, estimates and refines. See How costs and profit work.

Which structure type do I choose for a fuel block structure?

The structure you build them in (often an Engineering Complex such as a Raitaru), with Manufacturing ticked under . Fit its Engineering rigs with .

Characters

Something unclear or out of date? Ask your admin. All guides

None (no bonus rigs fitted)
Reprocessing base
The facility part of the refining yield per ore class. Only shown when the Reprocessing service is online.
Inactive
A grey chip on facilities you have deactivated. They are kept for history but not offered anywhere.

With nothing registered yet the page says No facilities registered. If every facility is deactivated it says No active facilities: switch on Show inactive to see them.

Check the bonuses against the game
Compare the Game shows column with the in-game industry window for a job in that structure. They should match.

The fields

Structure id
EVE's id for the structure: a long whole number such as 1035466617946. It cannot be changed once registered (the box is greyed out with Fixed once registered). Got it wrong? Register the structure again with the right id.
Name
Any name you will recognise, for example “X-7 Reaction Tatara”. It is what the app shows in pickers and tables.
Structure type
Pick from the list, grouped as in the game (Refinery, Engineering Complex, Citadel). Reactions and refining run in a Refinery (Athanor, Tatara); fuel blocks can be built in any structure with a manufacturing service. The type sets the rig size, the number of rig slots, the reaction time multiplier and the refining yield bonus.
System id, System name
The solar system's id and name. Find the id on a site such as DOTLAN or EVE Ref by searching the system name.
Region id, Region name
The region the system is in, the same way.
True security
The system's exact security status between −1 and 1, for example -0.42 (the game shows it rounded; DOTLAN shows the true value). Next to it, Band (derived like the game) shows the band the app works out: Security band explains why it matters.
Advanced → Wormhole (J-space) system
Tick only for a wormhole system. The band then becomes WORMHOLE. The app does not plan wormhole operations, so most people never need it.
Services online
Tick each service module that is online: Composite, Hybrid and Biochemical (the three reactor services), Reprocessing and Manufacturing. The Planner only offers this facility for reactions whose reactor service is ticked, refining only when Reprocessing is ticked, and fuel blocks only when Manufacturing is ticked.
Reaction tax
Required. The tax the structure owner set for reactions, as a percentage: type 1 for 1%, 0 for your own structure with no tax. It goes into the install cost estimates in the Planner.
Reprocessing tax
The owner's reprocessing tax, as a percentage. Leave it empty for 0. It is charged in ISK when you refine here.
Reaction tax per family (optional)
Only if the owner charges different taxes per reaction type: Composite, Hybrid and Biochemical + Molecular-Forged. Leave a box empty to use the Reaction tax above.

When the form refuses

Structure id is a whole number (from the game or the inbox item)
Digits only, no spaces or letters.
Pick the structure type
Choose a type from the list.
True security between −1 and 1
Use a dot for decimals, for example 0.35 or -0.42.
Reaction tax is required (e.g. 1 for 1%)
Type 0 if there is no tax.
Not a number
A tax box holds something other than a number.
A message about a duplicate key or “already exists”
You have already registered this structure id. Open the existing facility instead (switch on Show inactive if you cannot see it).
Rig, Kind, Size
The rig, whether it is a Reactor, Engineering (manufacturing) or Reprocessing rig, and its size.
Families / ore class
Which reaction families (Composite, Hybrid, Biochemical…) or which ore class (Asteroid ore, Moon ore, Ice) it boosts.
Time bonus, Material / base yield
The rig's own bonus before security is applied. For a reprocessing rig, its base yield.
Security ×
How much the bonus is multiplied by in high / low / null security. Hover for the labels.
Fitted
When you added it in the app.

A deactivated facility shows Inactive: rigs locked instead of the button. With no rigs it says No rigs fitted. 3 L-Set slots free.

Figures do not match the game?
Check, in this order: the structure type, the true security (a wrong sign moves the system into another band), the services ticked, and the rigs fitted. Your character's skills also change the in-game figures; the facility page shows only the structure's part.
