1. What the Stock page is for

Four tabs: what you hold, where each unit came from, a daily record of stock value, and a check against the game.

Stock answers three questions: what do my characters hold, what did it cost me and what is it worth. It has four tabs:

Holdings
What your characters hold right now according to EVE, valued at the market and price you choose.
Lots
Every parcel of stock the app has recorded, with where it came from and what it cost.
Snapshot
A daily record of your stock value, split by where the stock is (hangar, in jobs, on the market).
Reconciliation
Compares the app's records with what EVE says you hold, and helps you fix the differences.

The Character picker at the top right limits every tab to one character. Leave it on All to see your whole account.

2. Holdings: what you hold and what it is worth

The quantities come straight from EVE, so they match what you see in game.

Each row is one item held by one character. The Held quantity is what EVE reports in that character's hangars plus what is listed on its open sell orders. Hover the number to see the split. The list shows the items the app tracks (reaction materials, products, ore and minerals by default) and anything else you have recorded stock of.

Quantities refresh about once an hour
EVE only updates asset data roughly every hour. The line under the totals says assets as of … so you know how fresh the numbers are. If you just moved, bought or sold something, it can take up to an hour to show.

The columns

Item, Character
What it is and who holds it. Click a row to open the item's detail panel.
Held
Units in hangars plus on sell orders, from EVE.
vs ledger
The difference between what EVE shows and what the app has recorded. matches means the two agree. A number such as +10 means you hold 10 more than the app knows about; click it to open Reconciliation and fix it.
Avg cost/unit
The average of what you paid for the units the app has recorded, oldest first.
Book value
What the units cost you. Only units the app has a cost for are counted; when that is not all of them, a * appears next to the value. Hover it to see how many are costed.
Buy / Sell / Split price/unit
The price per unit at the chosen market. The column name follows the price you picked.
Market value
Held × price per unit: what all the units are worth now, costed or not.

3. Choosing the market and price

Value your stock at the hub you actually sell in, at the price you would actually get.

The bar above the totals has two controls. Your choice stays in the page address, so you can bookmark it.

Market
Where to price your stock. The list has the shared markets an admin has added for everyone (NPC trade hubs such as Jita or Amarr) and your own structure markets, marked (yours). Until you choose, it uses your valuation market from Settings→Costing.
Buy
The highest buy order: what you would get if you sold to buy orders right now. The most cautious value.
Sell
The lowest sell order: what you would ask if you listed your items on the market. The most optimistic value.
Split
Halfway between the two. A fair middle value, and the default.
  1. 1
    Pick a market
Choose the hub you normally sell in. A big hub gives steadier prices than a small structure market.
  2. 2
    Pick a price
Choose Buy if you dump to buy orders, Sell if you list on the market, otherwise Split.

4. An item's detail panel

Click any row, or any item name in the app, to see everything about that item.

Clicking a holdings row opens a side panel; Open full page shows the same on its own page. It has:

Actions
Record sale, Record purchase, Adjust stock and Plan this (opens the Planner with the item as the product).
Track price hourly
Switch on to collect this item's price every hour. Do this for items you hold that show no price.
Prices
The valuation price, CCP's adjusted price (used for install cost estimates), and best buy and sell at each market with when it was collected.
Price history
A chart of the item's price over time.
Holdings per character
The same columns as the Holdings tab, one row per character.
Open lots
The lots that still have units left, oldest first. Click a lot number to open it.

5. Lots: where every unit came from

The app's own record of your stock. This is what costs and profit are worked out from.

Every time stock arrives (bought, mined, refined, reacted, hauled, entered by hand) the app records it as a lot with its own cost per unit. When a job or a sale uses stock, the oldest lots are used first. See How costs and profit work.

Lot #
The lot's number. Click it to open the lot.
Acquired, Item, Character
When it arrived, what it is and who holds it.
Source
How it arrived: market buy, contract, manual purchase, mined, refined, reaction, planetary, hauled, opening balance, adjustment, compressed, and so on.
Qty acquired, Qty remaining
How many arrived, and how many are still left after jobs and sales took from it.
Unit cash cost
What you paid per unit. A custom chip means the price was set by hand in a contract review.
Unit market now, Remaining book, Remaining market
What a unit is worth now, and the cost and worth of what is left.
Self
Marked when you produced it yourself (mined, refined, reacted).
Source link
The job, contract, refine batch or haul it came from.

Filter by Source or Item. Open only (on by default) hides lots that are used up; switch it off to see the full history.

A lot's own page

Shows the lot's details and cost, every Consumption (which job, sale or refine used units from it), and its Lineage: switch between Where it came from (the chain of jobs and lots that produced it) and (everything made from it). Open a lot by its number from search () as well.

6. Snapshot: stock value day by day

Once a day, after EVE's downtime (from 11:30 EVE time), the app records how much stock you had and what it was worth. The chart shows the last 30 days, split by state:

In hangar
Stock sitting in your hangars.
In jobs
Inputs inside running jobs.
Pending output
What running jobs will produce.
On market
Stock listed on sell orders.

Pick a date to see that day's rows, or a state to narrow them. Take snapshot now records one immediately; if today's already exists, it asks before replacing it.

7. Reconciliation: fixing differences with the game

When the app's records and the game disagree, this tab tells you why and fixes it in a click.

Each row compares, per character and item, the quantity in the app's lots (Lots qty) with what EVE reports in hangars plus sell orders (ESI qty). Only rows that differ are shown; switch on Show matches to see all of them. The Likely cause column suggests what happened, and the Actions column has the fix:

Record purchase
You hold more than recorded and probably bought it. Opens the purchase form with the quantity filled in. Use Mined instead if you mined it.
Record refine
Ore went down and minerals went up: a refine was not recorded.
Record sale
You hold less than recorded: you probably sold it.
Adjust stock
For anything else (a loss, a gift, a correction). Opens an adjustment with the difference and a reason filled in.
Wait for the next sync
The lot changed just before or after EVE's last asset update, so the numbers have not caught up yet. Nothing to do.
Check asset scope and sync
There is no asset data for the character. Check it on Characters.

Tolerance (60 minutes by default) is how close to the last asset update a change must be to count as timing rather than a real gap. Raise inbox items turns each gap into an Inbox item, and closes items whose gap has gone.

Click a question to open it.

Stock

Why does Holdings show a different quantity from my lots?

Holdings shows what EVE says you hold; Lots shows what the app has recorded. When they differ, the vs ledger column shows by how much. Usually a purchase, refine, haul, sale or loss was not recorded. Open Reconciliation to record it.

Something I just bought or moved is not in Holdings yet.

EVE refreshes asset data about once an hour. The line under the totals shows when the last update was. Check again after the next one.

Why is my book value marked with a *?

The app only has a cost for some of the units you hold. Book value and unrealised gain cover those units only; the rest still count in market value. Record where the other units came from (Reconciliation helps) to give them a cost.

The prices look wrong.

Check which market and price are selected above the totals. A small structure market can have very different prices from Jita. Switch to a large shared market, or pick Buy, Sell or Split to match how you sell.

Some items show “–” for market value.

The chosen market has no price for them, so they are left out of the totals. Try another market, or open the item and switch on Track price hourly.

Does my market and price choice change my profit reports?

No. The choice on the Stock page only affects that page. Reports and the Dashboard use the valuation market and price from Settings→Costing.

How do I get my trade hub added to the market list?

Ask an admin: they can share any NPC station market with every account. For a player structure, add it yourself under Settings → Markets and prices.

Unrealised gain
Market value minus book value, for the costed units only. Green is a gain, red a loss.

The totals line

Above the table: total Market value, Book value, Unrealised gain and the number of item types. Two extra notes appear when they apply:

  • N unpriced (excluded from totals): items with no price at the chosen market. They show – and are left out of the totals. Try another market, or turn on Only unpriced to list them.
  • Without a cost … in N rows: the market value of units the app has no cost for. They count in market value but not in book value or unrealised gain. Reconcile them to give them a cost.

Use Search items… to filter by name. Click a column heading to sort by it.

Read the totals
Market value and unrealised gain update at once. Book value does not change: it is what you paid.
Small markets can give odd values
A structure market with few orders can show prices far from the main hubs. If an item looks badly over- or undervalued, switch to a large shared market such as Jita and compare. The line under the totals shows how old the prices are.

Your hub is not in the list? Ask an admin to share it (NPC stations only), or add your own structure market under Settings → Markets and prices. See the Settings guide.

What it went into
⌘K
Why the app keeps its own records
EVE tells the app how much you hold, not what you paid for it. The lots carry the cost, which is why profit needs them. Holdings uses EVE for quantities; Reconciliation keeps the two in step.
