1. What feedback and tickets are for

Tell the admins about a problem, ask for something new, or ask a question, and read their answer later.

A ticket is a message from you to the admins who run this app. Each one has a type, a title, your details, the page you sent it from, a status and, once an admin answers, their reply. There are two places to use:

Feedback
The button at the top of every page, next to Guide. It opens the form to send a new ticket without leaving the page you are on.
My tickets
The page that lists every ticket you have sent, with its status and the admins' reply. Open it from the account menu at the top right (your main character's name) → My tickets, or go to My tickets.

Every admin of this app can read your tickets, and sees the name of your main character with them. Sending a ticket does not let them see anything else in your account.

2. Sending a ticket

Open Feedback on the page the problem is on, so the page is attached for you.

  1. 1
Go to the page it is about
The ticket records which page you sent it from (including its tab and filters), so the admin can open exactly what you saw.
  2. 2
    Press Feedback
At the top of the page. A panel, Send feedback, opens on the right.
  3. 3
    Pick the Type
Bug, Feature request, Question or Other (see below). The hint in Details changes to match.
  4. 4
    Write a Title
One line that sums it up, up to 200 characters. For example: “Holdings show the wrong price for Ferrogel”.
  5. 5
    Write the Details
Up to 5,000 characters. Under the box, Sent from … shows the page that will be attached. See what makes a good report.
  6. 6
    Press Send
A message says Ticket #12 sent to the admins (with its number). Its My tickets button opens your list.

3. Ticket types

Bug
Something that is wrong: an error, a wrong number, a button that does nothing. The hint asks what you did, what you expected and what happened instead.
Feature request
Something you would like the app to do. Say what it is and what it would help you with.
Question
Something you want to know. Check the guides and FAQ first: the answer may already be there.
Other
Anything else.

4. What makes a good bug report

The admin cannot see your account, so the ticket has to carry everything they need.

  • What you did, step by step: which button, which tab, which filter.
  • What you expected to happen or to see.
  • What happened instead, with any error message copied word for word.
  • The numbers involved: the job, lot or contract number, the item name, the character, the quantity or ISK amount that looks wrong, and the figure you expected.
  • When it happened, in EVE time, if it was a one-off.
  • Whether it happens again if you repeat the steps.

Send it from the page where the problem is, so the right page is attached.

5. Following your tickets

My tickets shows what you sent, where it stands, and the admins' answer.

My tickets lists your tickets, newest first. The count at the top of the list says how many are still open (Open or In progress). Each ticket shows:

Status
A coloured label: see the list below.
Type and title
The type you chose, your title and the ticket number (#12).
Details
What you wrote.
Sent, page
How long ago you sent it, and the page it was sent from.
Admin reply
The admins' answer and when it was written, in a box under your text. It appears once an admin replies.

Statuses

Open
Sent, and not picked up yet.
In progress
An admin is looking at it or working on it.
Done
Fixed, added or answered.
Won't do
The admins decided not to act on it. The reply usually says why.

The app does not notify you when a ticket changes. Check My tickets now and then. If nothing is there yet, the page says No tickets yet.

Admins: you answer tickets on the Admin page; see Administration → Tickets.

Feedback and tickets

“At most 10 tickets an hour; try again later”

Each account can send 10 tickets in any hour. Wait a while and send it again, or put several points in one ticket.

“Add a short title and some details.”

Both the Title and the Details must have some text before the ticket can be sent.

Who can read my tickets?

Every admin of this app, with your main character's name and the page you sent it from. Other users cannot. A ticket does not give the admins access to anything else in your account.

Will I be told when an admin replies?

No. The reply and the new status appear on My tickets; check there.

Can I change or delete a ticket I sent?

No. Send a new ticket that mentions the first one's number (for example “about #12”) with the correction.

Where do I find the Feedback button?

At the top of every page while you are logged in, between Guide and Record.

Administration

Something unclear or out of date? Ask your admin. All guides

Both the title and the details are needed; if either is empty you see Add a short title and some details. Press Cancel to close the panel without sending.

Never paste passwords or tokens
The admins do not need your EVE password, login codes or anything from a login link to help you, and nobody from this app will ask for them. Leave them out of tickets.

You can send up to 10 tickets an hour. After that you see At most 10 tickets an hour; try again later. A sent ticket cannot be edited or deleted; to add something, send a new ticket and mention the first one's number.
